But being single is not a crime. There are so many things to do, challenges to conquer, goals to reach, places to go, foods to eat, people to meet that is simply more appetizing to do when you are single.
Don’t get me wrong being in a relationship sure have its perks but being single definitely has its advantages too. So when after all your polite replies they still question you why. Then just share with them the many reasons why not.

You Love Your Freedom Too Much

Blame it on social media; girls these days need 100% affection, attention, indulgence. So you decide you need to be swept off your feet by a magical creature who will put all his needs at the side and only cater to all your fancies.

And everything is perfect. But love is never perfect. Love has its ups and downs. There are obstacle, in fact there are way more obstacles than happy moments and that’s the honest truth.

For you he needs to be tall, hot, packed with abs, smooth skin, drives the latest car model, works for a top-notch firm, only goes out with his equally hot friend, lives in a posh townhouse. He needs to be prince charming and he needs to be perfect.
But, who needs perfect? Who needs perfect when you can fall in love with his quirkiness or his slight awkwardness. Loving someone doesn’t need to be perfect it just needs to be real.
You’re Single Because You‘d Rather Stay At Home Than Go Out And Mingle
Maybe you are a home based writer and you just want to be in your pjs all day. You’d choose drinking coffee by your window and watch people passing by making up stories about rather than meeting new people at a café because you don’t like to talk.
You’re Single Because You Want To Be Single
And there’s nothing wrong with that. Maybe society tells you otherwise but do what makes you happy, live a contented life whether you have a boyfriend or not.
Treat people nicely, go wherever you want to go, promote you advocacy and just be who you are.
