Think About This When Your Anxiety Is Kicking In

Dealing with anxiety is no joke. Sometimes your day is going along fine and with just a disappointing interaction with a stranger can make it bad.

There are times when you push away people because you think you’re just a burden to them or they don’t like you.

Other times you want to do something that you’ve been meaning to do for a while; you plan it, you buy tickets or materials or whatever it is associated with your interest you do it all but at the last minute after all your preparations you back out. That’s the anxiety talking.

It drains you of all your power leaving you feeling you’re worthless, you’re unlovable and undeserving. It makes you settle for less than you deserve and keeps you from succeeding in life because you’re apprehensive. You feel you’ll never make it and it’s a recurring situation in your life.

But you’ve got to know that most of these things you’re scared of are actually just a product of your imagination. Of course there are many times when people won’t like you and you’ll fail in life because that’s what life is about. Life is about dealing with the failures but underneath it are the many chances you have to redeem yourself and the countless possibilities to succeed.

You’ve got everyday and as long as you’re breathing you have the chance to be happy and sometimes you need to force yourself too. If something’s bothering you like from the internet perhaps then don’t watch it, don’t listen to it and don’t read it. If you’re not happy with your life, make a change. Even through baby steps you can do it. Not everything can happen overnight that’s why it’s important to take a step forward to get better on a day to day basis.

Don’t worry about the setbacks because everyone experiences them. Even successful people experience multiple failures before they had their biggest break. Learn to choose your battles and always learn from them. Don’t belittle yourself and make each day count by focusing on the blessings, the opportunities, new friends, old friends, families and most of all the trials. Yes, you should be thanking the hardships because you won’t learn any if it not for the trials.

But most of all go easy on yourself. You’re more sensitive than others so treat yourself to a scoop of ice cream if you’re feeling a bit down. Surround yourself with people who value you and appreciate you. Be grateful for the people who remember to keep in touch and be thankful for the family who never leave you. Always find something to be thankful for because there’s always something no matter how big or small and always love yourself first.
