“Didn’t know you like Selena music”, I smiled.
She glanced her way towards me with that irritated look again like she really know it was me from the other day talking. “I’m not here for the music”, she rolled her eyes. “So you’re just sampling what you’ll wear next on your night out?” I gave her my naughty look. “I’m here for a friend; she’s the organizer for this event.” Finally she said something that is a little far from being mad and not looking like the girl with a million smoking nostrils. “You have the same job as hers?” “What’s it to you?” “And for a guy I’m surprised you know Selena,” her voice sounding in a monotone manner. “I’m just curious and my younger sister listens to her.” This is the first time I’m looking at her face to face and noticed that she’s got pretty eyes and they’re very bright like the sun but of course her eyes are brown and not yellow because no one has a yellow set of eyes. “What are you staring at?” “Look if there’s nothing more you want to say…” “I still want to say something.” “Well, what is it?” “What do you really do?” I asked. “That’s not saying something, that’s asking.” She rolled her eyes again.
“Wow! I really can’t make anything right with you.” “I’m a writer and I blog, alright?” I smiled. “I’m an engineer.” “I didn’t ask.” “I’d still like to tell you.” “Fine.” “Maybe we can go grab doughnut and coffee after this?” “I don’t even know you.” “I’m Justin, what’s your name?” “Why would you wanna have coffee with me?” She asked. “I’d like to know your thoughts on all those things you read at the café plus if you read other stuffs too.” “Alright, I’m Ally.”
